       And that makes me wonder, why can't we have those dis-infectors inside our bodies? A human organism takes a few weeks to produce antibodies, and get rid of it, while drug industry takes months to years to come up with a vaccine. That makes me wonder about the technology transfer from our bodies to our industry.

       It's because of the useless wimps on "Ethics Committees". The procedure would be so simple - find a resistant individual, drain out all their blood, and use it to clone antibodies - if it weren't for their petty quibbling. So one exemplar stops working. Big deal ... greatest good of greatest number, and all that.
