Running and listening to music with your iPod is great
but
you want to keep your pace up.
This app would fade down the music and fade in a
recording of wild dogs catching up to you if the motion
detectors in the unit sensed you were getting below a
certain pace. The slower you go, the closer
(louder) they
get. If you get your speed back up, they fade down as
you appear to pull away from them. (And the music
fades back in)
We all run faster when chased by wild animals so this
would tap into that primitive part of your brain that
says:
"RUN OR DIE!".
At some point if you go slow enough or wuss out and
start
walking the recording changes to dogs attacking at
maximum volume, the hapless victim (you) screaming
etc.

This is undoubtedly true, BUT we do not all run
equally fast (or slow). So, shouldn't this device lower
the dog sounds if you just pass someone else? |

animal sounds too. Dogs, bears, lions, circus clowns. |

The clowns would be honking bicycle horns and
doing various goofy (creepy) clown laughs. Not sure
what they'd do
when they catch you but I wouldn't want to find out.
