A program (or person) can rewrite articles to specific reading levels. When you come to an article you do not understand, scientific journal etc, just scroll down to your appropriate reading level until it makes sense.

Or get a more detailed higher analysis of a dumbed down article (if possible).

       [+] I often find myself reading a "pop-sci" article in which I have interest and want more detail than it provides. Likewise I find myself reading technical reports and have to blip over every second word.
