Selective pants missile launcher

A small missle launcher mounted in a public place that will "kill" certain types of pants

Fashion has definitely gone waaaaay too far. Bell bottoms suck, always have, always will. Hip huggers really are not THAT sexy. And these freakish idiots who where jeans hanging off of their a . . . a . . . anatomy and of course, the crotch between the knees and ankles . . . Don't forget about the idiots that where their jeans so tight they look like they came from an aerosol can (men and women both).

My idea is to mount a small missile launcher in a public place, like the mall, that will fire a small missle that will have an effect similar to that of a mosquito bite. Have it somehow track and "kill" anyone wearing these fashion freaks. Kind of like an automated fashion police. Jeans are supposed to be comfortable yet functional, not awkward and prohibiting. My first thought was to mount a 7.62mm Vulcan autogun but that would be slightly unlawful, so I would settle for the mosquito bite missile launcher . . . just enough to be irritating.

I dunno, I jsut keep thinking of Nanotech disassemblers and the Get Smart movie. A selective "Nude bomb" that targeted clothing you didn't like would be amusing, but I could see it escalating quickly. hrm, at the rate we're managing to develop the tech, maybe I should start working out...

In a world with no fashion police, it's up to the fashion vigilantes to dispense fashion justice...

7.62 recoils too much. Mosquito bite is too weak. How about a bamboo sword-No projectile-just "THWACKA"-Now that hurts.

<rant>Personally, what really gets my goat is "sensible" people who get pissed off at other people for wearing clothes slightly out of the normal. If I could have a missile for them - in fact a paintball would probably do.

You know the sort, straight-leg jeans, blue shirt, short-back-and-sides, so worried that they'll look back and be laughed at in 20 years time, they'll never do anything even slightly abnormal. Most people who wore really wild clothes in the 70s and 80s can look back and say, well it may look silly now, but i sure had a good time wearing it. Will Mr Chinos 'n' sensible shoes say the same? </rant>

This info may be helpful: While it is possible to get a bug bite through pants, it is impossible to scratch a bug bite in skin-tight jeans--although watching people try to do so without looking silly is absolutely hilarious. Just an idea. ::sniggersnigger::

I also don't care for people who get upset when someone wears clothes considered out of the ordinary. I wear big clothes because THEY'RE COMFORTABLE. I like the way they feel. When I see someone wearing tight clothes or ridiculously ludicrous clothes, I say to myself "I think I'm hungry." Why? Because I don't really care what they're wearing.

please Afro tell me and all the other ex students of the Mary Poppins School of Pain that you do NOT wear those silly trousers that have the crotch around the knee area - please tell me you don't.

AfroAssault: Me too...I might snicker at them for being fashion victims, but I won't tell them they shouldn't or can't wear something...

The crotch is nowhere near my knees, it's closer to my ankles.

Actually, the pants are bigger than necessary, but the crotch is right where it needs to be.
