Sometimes it is difficult for people to understand the
problems you are having, e.g. why you don't want to go
to
crowded social gatherings etc...
Explaining a complex mental illness can be quite hard.
So instead, why not just stock a bunch of business cards
sized "advisory cards" (specific
to a form of mental
illness), that suffers can stock up to use in
social gatherings, jobs, appointments as needed.
What it contains is a cheatsheet on what it is, and
frequently asked question. (e.g. what to do if your friend
has a panic attack)
It also contains a QR code and NFC tag that links to a
website explaining what the issue is, the rights and
regulations, etc... All in a quick and easy to reference
manner. (The NFC/QR could also be useful for storing
quick info for first responders)

Since everyone is different, a psychologist appointment
can be done perhaps, to generate a specific card that is
most suitable for the user, and is verified by the
psychologist.

When I was much younger (maybe around 10?) and
was going on a trip or to the Stampede or something,
my mom gave me a card to put in my wallet that
explained how I might behave in ways people might
not expect due to my Asperger syndrome, so that in
case I was on my own with strangers (or police, I
think she said something about) and was having
difficulty, I could show them the card. I never had to
use it, but I think it was a good idea. |

I think she printed the card from some Asperger-
parents website. Not to say that this is baked already,
necessarily; I don't think it was anywhere near as
sophisticated as what you're suggesting. QR codes
and
NFC certainly didn't exist back then. |

Not exactly. Medic Alert bracelets may be more durable, but
it comes at a cost of universality. |

effectiveness in getting the point across, without the user
