Car-O-Cycle

The wind blowing around you like a mototcycle with the safety of a car.

Motorcycles are fun but dangerous since you have nothing around you to absorb impact from a collision and they're easily lost in blind spots due to their size.

Putting the motorcycle on top of a car body, then putting a rollbar over the rider would allow you to drive in the wind for a motorcycle ride effect with the safety and visibility of a car.

You'd add a seatbelt and airbags as well.

       // Motorcycles are fun but dangerous //

       Dangerous = fun.

       // a seatbelt and airbags //

       Presumably it is intended that the "rider" dies of boredom ?

       Many small spaceframed sports cars can be configured for exactly this effect simply by unclipping body panels.

       As somebody who's owned, ridden (and crashed) motorcycles, I can tell you, the fun part is the riding, not the crashing.

       This is probably the best idea I have read on this page. [+]

       Have you heard of convertibles? Or is that the joke. This sounds like a convertible.
evilpenguin, Apr 14 2018

       In a convertible you're sitting in a cockpit behind a windshield, with this you're astride a cycle body so you're entirely in the wind.

       It's a motorcycle on top of a car for the protection of a car with the flying through the air effect of a motorcycle.

       So when you crash, you fly through the air. I’m sensing a flaw...
