Full face helmets offer superior protection.

In an accident, advice is strongly against removing the helmet.

But a full face helmet makes access difficult for a mask, either for supplementary oxygen, or Entonox.

If helmets were manufactured with a standardized connector to which a medical gas line can be attached, and an internal mask component, rescuers could treat the wearer without risking removing the helmet.

       If you used a flammable mixture, you could cook the head to perfection. I don’t approve of meat eating humans, but there are bears to be fed etc, and this seems like something that someone like 8th of 7 would approve of as an extended usage of the idea.
