Using a composite surfboard made from various materials with very high thermal conductivity (maybe some form of AreoGel composite), surf on a volcano's lava flow.

For the ultimate surfing experience. (Heat resistant wet suit needed!).

Or, better yet, perhaps materials with a very low thermal conductivity?

Heat radiating from the molten rock would cook you in seconds. Of course, you would already be dead from being hit by pyroclastic flow, so that wouldn't bother you all that much. Not my fishbone.

This is discussed at length in the New Scientist book, "Does anything eat wasps".
