A white bathtub featuring inscribed black lines and figures marking litres, gallons, etc.

A small collection of variously sized and weighted rubber duckies are used to aid in volume and weight measurement/calculations of buoyancy non-neutral items.

Or just played with because... rubber duckies.

I suppose that combined with the use of a normal bathroom scale this would allow easy calculation of one’s BMI for those who are into that sort of thing.

//suitable for both volume and weight measurement// Volume, yes, but weight, no. A brick made of lead and one of the same size made of aluminium will give the same answer.

// Volume, yes, but weight, no. // Yes to both, actually :

that's where the rubber ducky(s) come in, to balance the object in case it's too light to get proper volume (by adding enough weight to barely sink it (though that can be accomplished by simply pushing it underwater)), or too heavy to get proper weight (by adding buoyancy to barely float it).

Oddly enough, [FT], I do believe you're right. Have a bun on me.
MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 07 2018

Is that a regular bun, or a buoyant rubber fake bun ?
8th of 7, Apr 07 2018

It is merely a bun. An echt bun. A bun in and of itself.
MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 07 2018

It’s a bun of the type used to make sub sandwiches obviously.

[+] Maybe a waterproof sticker and some setup instructions for those of us whom can't replace our bath tubs on a scientific desire.
