Fanny Counterweight

a weighted fanny pack designed to lighten the load on the lower back muscles

Often times, man finds himself fat.

standing for long periods with a gut hanging over your waistband causes the lower back muscles to clench up and strain. so the idea is to use leverage to lessen the load. For example if you have an estimated 40lbs of gut, you would put 40 lbs of lead plates in a pack that straps to your waist and sticks out a foot or so. this works in the same way that if you carry a heavy sack, you balance the weight on your spine instead of having constant leverage one way or another.

another byproduct is the extra 40lbs will give you more exercise to help lose the gut. and when you find yourself falling backwards more often than not, you know its time to lower the counterweight amount.

I thought this would be to counter balance something else.

[+] bravo; I've long said it isn't the weight but the CG shift that makes things awkward.
FlyingToaster, Jun 02 2009

not to mention the sustained additional stress on the spine pelvis legs knees and ankles.

But what if your weight is mainly distributed around your ears? Not mine, I mean others.

Common [theleopard], Simon Cowell is bigger than that!
gnomethang, Jun 03 2009

Nick Griffin is taller than Simon Cowell, surely he qualifies as requiring the largest counterweight of all?
zen_tom, Jun 03 2009

       How tall is Max Clifford?
theleopard, Jun 03 2009

Max Clifford is a lightweight. Here in the UK a fanny is a lady's front bottom. generally no problem here.
